At Hearthside, everything we do centers on bringing people together around spaces they love. For many, that means family and friends - a subject near our hearts as our business has been family owned and operated for many years - as have many of our partners.

The family backstory of Harman, based in Halifax, PA, is a great tale of innovation rising to meet a very real need. In 1978, Dane and Gloria Harman struggled to make ends meet because of high electric heating costs, so Dane used his welding and design skills to make his first wood stove. A year later, Harman Stoves was established in a small building beside their home. Since then, Harman has designed multiple patents, won multiple Vesta awards in five fuel categories, and received accolades for business growth. The patented PelletPro™ System and burn pot propelled Harman to the forefront of pellet technology. Harman products are real heating powerhouses, and the company continues to focus on developing innovative heating solutions for the biomass market.

We’d love to show you our Harman line and talk to you about how any of our pellet stoves could fit your family’s home, lifestyle, heating needs, and budget.

Happy Friday, everyone! A simple, beautiful grilled meal of Barbecue Lamb Cutlets with Seaweed Butter served up with a gorgeous salad or radish and greens. Fast, beautiful, and savory. Kombu is (to oversimplify) dried kelp which has been cut into sheets. You can find it at grocers like Whole Foods and Trader Joes, or ordered online from retailers like Amazon or Thrive Market. Check it out! And if youre stopping by Trader Joes on Route 2 in Warwick, stop in and say hello! Were right past the plaza on the right with the big swing set outside! https://www.delicious.com.au/recipes/barbecue-lamb-cutlets-seaweed-butter/zs2EKJCh?r=recipes/collections/phsuvhjl

If you’ve been waiting for the right time to upgrade or add a Harman Pellet Stove to your home, your day has come to save big on Harman’s most efficient pellet hearth products - all of which qualify for a 26% federal tax credit.

Effective January 1st, 2021, a new Wood and Pellet Heater Investment Tax Credit came into effect for qualifying purchases completed on or after that date, through December 31, 2023. Found under section 25(D) of the tax code, this new credit covers 26 percent of the purchase and installation costs (with no cap or lifetime limit) for tax years 2021 and 2022; moving down to 22 percent of purchase and installation costs in 2023.

To qualify, the stove or insert must burn biomass as a fuel, heat air or water, and be at least 75 percent efficient per the higher heating value of the fuel.

Installations at primary or secondary residencies can be claimed, and both the purchase and installation costs (venting and related materials, onsite labor) can be included in your total cost.

To get started, connect with your local Hearthside team to determine a qualifying selection that best meets your familys heating needs. We look forward to serving you.
